Advanced English online course – Language Learning Hub

About

Refine the way you speak, listen and write in demanding everyday and professional situations. This advanced English course offers 20 structured lessons on precision, nuance, register, diplomacy and communicating complex ideas. Who this course is for This course suits learners who already communicate independently in English and want more control over tone, phrasing and structure. Choose it to practise the language of discussions, presentations, negotiation, interviews and professional writing. What you will practise • Select precise collocations and adapt your language to your audience. • Express disagreement diplomatically and manage difficult conversations. • Follow fast speech, infer meaning and reformulate complex ideas. • Negotiate, answer presentation questions and write clear reports and proposals. • Evaluate claims and bring several communication skills together in a capstone task. Your course pathway Start Here introduces the learning plan. Module 1 — Precision, Nuance & Confident Speaking: develop natural expression, implication, rhythm, intonation, negotiation and listening inference. Module 2 — Register, Diplomacy & Advanced Grammar: work on spontaneous speaking, formality, hedging, emphasis, conditionals and alternative outcomes. Module 3 — Listening & High-Level Communication: organise extended answers, handle fast speech and accent variation, paraphrase, negotiate and present. Module 4 — Workplace, Critical Thinking & Capstone: practise interviews, networking, reports, proposals, storytelling and critical reading before an integrated simulation. Complete the capstone assessment and use the answer guide to review your work. Try a sample: precision and tone Lesson 1 compares “Can you sort this?” with “Could you take a look at this when you have a moment?” Both can fit a situation, but the second is less direct. Choose the wording that fits your relationship and purpose. Now rewrite a short request for a friend and for a customer. Explain why you changed the language. You will also practise natural combinations such as “raise a concern”, “meet a deadline” and “reach an agreement”. How you will learn Combine narrated audio, explanations, speaking tasks, practical writing and lesson checkpoints. Four milestone quizzes support your revision. The 27 steps include 20 lessons, Start Here, four module quizzes, the capstone assessment and an answer guide. Practical questions Is this suitable for beginners? It assumes you can already communicate independently. The Beginner and Intermediate courses provide earlier stages of the pathway. Can I study around work? Yes. This is a self-paced course with no fixed class timetable. Is the payment recurring? No. The course is available for a one-off payment at the price displayed. How do I demonstrate progress? Use the practical tasks, quizzes and integrated capstone to review accuracy, clarity and suitability for your audience.
